An inventor played by Vincent Price (Edward Scissorhands is one of his last roles) invented a synthetic human that has all the qualities of an ideal boy except for a pair of hands. Instead for a hand Edward, the synthetic boy, has a pair of sharp blades as hands. Temporarily planed to have the sharp blades as hands but this was made permanent when Edward’s inventor suddenly died and left him alone in the castle. A lady named Peg played by Dianne Wiest find werry Edward inside the lonely castle and invited him in her home.
